Your curator statement reflects what you show in your images really well. The image of the clouds at the top relate greatly to your idea of sunlight, so I think it was a well chosen image. When you described some of the artists, you were able to clearly define how their work related to sunlight, which was a bonus to me because I was able to then understand the need to include these artists in this series.
I think the simple fact that we all need sunlight makes the viewer connected to this work in some way. I like the artists you decided to include. Claude Monet was a great addition, as well as the other artists who were working in natural lighting. Your project is described well, and I like how you have chosen to take an everyday known aspect, such as sunlight, and have given it an artistic nature.
I think the selection of works and artists that you choose, reflect perfectly upon your idea of sunlight. Each artist is connected well with one another and it is described well in your curator statement. I enjoy the specific artists that you chose because they are quite similar to the technique that you have used within your pieces.
I like the layout of your exhibition is very well thought out. The pieces that you chose are extremely different, but they all have the commonality of sunlight. Your curator statement immediately catches your interest with your emphasis on the importance of sunlight.
I really enjoyed this exhibition, I thought that the artists that were chosen worked very well together and emphasized the importance of sunlight, particularly ambient light, as the means of successfully producing art. However, I think that you should have put a title on the homepage so that we know the name of the exhibit and the links need to be corrected because they didn't work at all. I was truly impressed with the imagery in infiltrating Detroit, I thought that the compositions were really successful and the editing was very well done.
